Full construction cost consultancy services including preliminary cost advice, approximate estimates, cost planning of design and alternatives, advice on tendering procedures and contractual arrangements, preparation of tender documents and Bills of Quantities, selection of contractors and obtaining tenders, valuation of work in progress, cost management and final account settlement.

  Cost advice during the preliminary design stage and establishment of preliminary budget estimates.  Cost monitoring during detail design stage, advice on the cost effect of design decisions.
  The process of providing the necessary functions of the building, which have been established in the design brief, at minimum cost whilst maintaining quality where emphasis is given to the issues of buildability and life-cycle costs.
  Advice on the most suitable tendering procedures and contractual arrangements for projects including preparation of bid/tender lists.
  Advice on the selection of the type of documentation required to obtain comparable competitive bids/tenders to suit the size, nature and location of the project. 
  Monitoring of tendering procedures, evaluation of bids/tenders received and preparation of reports and recommendations.
  Regular reports and financial recommendations relating to on- and off-site production and progress.
  Preparation of reports prior to and throughout the construction period to enable budgets to be followed or adjusted to accommodate change/variation orders, and preparation of monthly progress evaluations and forecasts of final cost.
  Preparation of final accounts on completion of the project, including variations, financial implications of programme changes and evaluation and negotiation of contractors' claims.
  Support services to legal advisers, architects, contractors and other disciplines.
  Preparation of Bills of Quantities, administration of sub-contractors, post-contract cost managements, re-measurement and final account preparation.
  Claims preparation and defence, working in co-operation with the legal profession where applicable.
  Provision of costed schedules and details to facilitate negotiations by other advisers with the Inland Revenue.
