QS Partnership Ltd was established by Timo Partanen, ARMITQS, after working for more than 35 years in the construction industry, which included 12 years in building, 23 years in quantity surveying and project management with nearly 20 of those years at the level of Manager or Director.

Timo Partanen has provided professional services in Australia, Hong Kong, UK and the USA, his experience encompassing international projects from office conversions, motor retail outlets, hospitals, prisons, churches and residential and commercial developments.

He was an Associate of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AAIQS) - winning the prestigious Casey Prize for top final year results  from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (1972) and was a Member of the Australian Institute of Building.

QS Partnership Ltd aims to  provide comprehensive cost and project management services to the development and construction industry in general, but has extensive experience in motor dealerships, having worked on most of the major brands, including VW - Audi - Skoda - Nissan - Ford - Mazda - Renault - Mercedes - BMW.

The company concentrates its activities in the fields of quantity surveying and construction cost consultancy, but offers a wide range of integrated services which includes Project and Construction Management,   Quantity Surveying  and  .

The Company is committed to providing a professional and personal services and places firm emphasis on the team approach when working with clients and other consultants.

We specialise in co-ordination of management of the whole team from inception to completion of a project, encompassing planning, coordinating, monitoring costs and design during the construction process.

QS Partnership Ltd is experienced in 'Re-thinking Construction' and encouraging partnering relationships with all team members on each project using PPC 2000 (ACA Standard Form of Contract for Project Partnering).  Cost monitoring and advice on the cost effectiveness of design decisions, and cost checking of the final detailed design.
